Services
of taxis, also equally popular as cabs, have generally misconcieved as shuttle
services on an average-sized yellow four wheelers which can accommodate two
people (one of the two front seat being for driver and other being vacant all
the time). This perspective is true to a very large extent. But one should not
limit his or her idea to only the services on such kind of vehicles, when
tranporation service companies claim to provide “Taxi Service”. These companies
are normally claiming to provide high quality luxurious transportation
services, which include more than just transporting for the sake of
‘transportation’.
The
word ‘taxi’ is dynamic; it is not limited to a yellow cab. Nowadays, taxi
services inlclude transportaion on limousines (accomodating from 6 to 10
passengers), SUVs, sedans, passengers vans (accomodating from 7 to 15
passengers). Comparatively these vehicles are cozy, fancy, luxurious and more
acoomodating. For instances, limousines are comfortable and convenient in a
sense that they are equipped with different facilties, such as air
conditioning, music system, communication services, and so on. Passengers vans
can be an ideal vehicle for ones who are traveling with a large group of
people. SUVs, and sedans can be a perfect means of transportation for family.
These vehicle are classy and expensive so that they provide a sense of
superiority over ‘yellow’ cabs.
In
addition to, taxi services also constitute various services. For illustrations,
limousines are generally used in weddings where brides, with their fathers,
attend to the church via limousines. People also use limousines for night outs
with friends. SUVs and Sedans are mostly used by the top corporate
professionals to attend meetings and other corporate purposes, if such events are
taking place in other states. Furthermore, such vehicles are also sought for
sporting events, sightseeing and DIA (Direct Internation Airport)
transportation.
So, when you visit California state and are consdering
Oakland cab or taxi in San Jose, don’t narrow
your mind to only yellow cabs!
